Coaching Interventions for Lifestyle Change and Digitial Minimalism

Have you ever wanted to make a significant lifestyle change, but just don’t know where to start? I offer coaching interventions to help you make that change through collaborative planing, accountability, and encouragement. A particular passion of mine is helping those who want to decrease their screentime and improve their relationship with their devices.

Conditions I Treat

  • Approximately 1 in 6 people will experience a depressive episode, and it can happen to anyone at any time of life. My goal when treating depression with medication is to help people feel like they can walk their path in life as opposed to feeling stuck in quicksand.

  • Anxiety can manifest itself in different ways (somatic “body” symptoms, irritability, difficulty sleeping, frequent or constant worry), and it’s effect of life can be crippling. Anxiety treatment aims to calm down the body’s nervous system to encourage the “parasympathetic pathway”, or “rest and digest”.

  • ADHD is classified by inattentive type, hyperactive type, or combined. People with ADHD face significant challenges in their life, with potential impacts in school, work, relationships, and personal wellbeing. The gold standard of ADHD treatment is medication management alongside behavioral therapies. I offer comprehensive ADHD testing and medication management for ADHD.

  • The impact of trauma on our lives can be far-reaching, and has the potential to manifest itself as post-traumatic stress disorder. While therapy is the gold-standard for PTSD, symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, and comorbid depression and anxiety can be treated with medications.

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is a type of anxiety condition, and can cause significant negative impact on daily functioning. Treatment for OCD involves ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) therapy and, if warranted, medications.

  • When did it become so hard to get a good night’s sleep? Improving sleep requires a multifaceted approach to understand what is causing sleep difficulty in the first place. The elements to consider include sleep hygiene, overall stressors, medical history, and if any medications could be beneficial.

  • Bipolar Disorder is characterized by manic or hypomanic episodes which cycle with episodes of depression. The impact on one’s life can be devastating, as lack of judgement during manic episodes can result in actions with severe consequences. The typical treatment for bipolar disorder is mood stabilizer medication.
