  • I offer services both in my downtown Seattle office and online via telehealth according to your preference! I am also required to see patients who are prescribed controlled medications or have Medicare Part B as their insurance in person at least one time each calendar year.

  • The exact time between appointments depends on the individual situation, but typically patients will see me every 1-3 months.

  • I believe that psychiatric medications are one potential element of a multimodal treatment approach in mental health. They are not a silver bullet that will fix everything, and all medications have possible side effects that must be considered. In general, I believe that fewer medications at lower dosages is the best option, but everyone will have their own unique treatment plan according to their goals and results. Since most psychiatric medications take time to find the right dosage and take effect, I recommend that patients starting a new medication plan to commit to one year before considering tapering off.

  • I am not seeing individuals for therapy alone at this time. That being said, I highly recommend therapy to all of my patients. If you are looking for a therapist, reach out to me via my contact form and I would be happy to send you contact information of several excellent providers who are accepting new clients in the Seattle area.

  • I do not prescribe long-term benzodiazepines due to the risk of dependence and rebound anxiety. I do prescribe them on an “as-needed” basis for conditions such as panic attacks and flight anxiety, though the exact number per month depends on the individual situation.

  • I offer a sliding scale for coaching services according to individual need. I do not offer a sliding scale for medication management at this time.
